Wodonga`s new city square was officially opened by the Member for Northern Victoria on 28 April 2015.
The completed development, a partnership between Wodonga Council and Places Victoria, provides a new meeting place for Wodonga residents, businesses and visitors, and is an integral part of the new heart of central Wodonga.
The $1.75 million Urban Square, largely funded by the Victorian Government, adjoins the realigned Elgin Boulevard and provides a link from High Street through to the broader Junction Place precinct.
The Urban Square features refurbished rail infrastructure, seating and shade. It is the first public space planned for Junction Place.
